This is a 100% honest review based on my own experience. I’m Mexican and have lived in the DMV for five years, and I don’t say this lightly: this place truly delivers authentic flavor. Their tamales are amazing, rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care, and the tacos are just as delicious, consistently fresh and satisfying. I have never once had an issue with the staff; everyone is friendly, welcoming, and professional, which makes the experience even better. The restaurant is also in a great location, making it easy and convenient to visit. I encourage people to try it for themselves before forming an opinion. I ordered 2 dozens of tamales and they were the BEST tamales I have tasted around this area. Very friendly and food was great.
First place I’ve been to that makes REAL carnitas the way it should. They were so good, I bought five of them and the horchata was also really good. The 45 minute drive was worth it.
